BACKGROUND

While focusing on training and superior continuing education efforts, Velda received her Bachelor of Business Administration from Brenau University where she specialized in Operation Management, Management Principles and Small Business Management.  Velda received her Master of Business Administration Degree from Troy State University with a concentration in Economics, Finance, Accounting and Marketing Management.

PASSION

Velda is passionate about helping property owners identify solutions to improve their operations resulting in both increased cash flow and excellent customer service and value.  Within the industry and at her firm, RealPro Realty, she is known as a problem solver with proven results whether it is property management or addressing customer concerns.  Velda is a people person and has a very solid track record of providing excellent customer service to clients.

TEACHING

Velda is presently an adjunct instructor with Kennesaw State University College of Continuing and Professional Education where she teaches a Property Management Certification course. 

At Georgia Piedmont Technical College she teaches MGMT 1115, AIPM 1101, AIPM 1115.  She also facilitates Ethics 800 with IREM GA (Institute of Real Estate Management) and is a Sale Pre-license instructor at Georgia Institute of Real Estate (GIRE).  In 2016 she is slated to teach as a certified instructor for IREM National.  Velda is an active member of the Institute of Real Estate Management, Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors, as well as the Georgia Real Estate Education Association (GREEA). She is a Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) an has over ten years experience on Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC).

First, I'd like to say how much I enjoyed your class and to let you know that I passed the state exam yesterday. I also wanted to see if there was a possibility that I might affiliate with you as a broker. I mentioned to you that I was interested in working onsite for builders, but this class taught me that in order to do that I would have to surrender my salesperson license that I just worked so hard to get. No way! LOL!


With that said, I thought it would be worth it to reach out to you and see if you would consider permitting me to restart my career by joining your team. I know that your years of knowledge and experience will be invaluable to me and that I will benefit from your mentorship and guidance as I learn and grow in the industry. 


I sincerely hope that there is a place for me and that you will consider me a value-add to your organization. You also taught me that I should not be afraid to ask because the answer just might be "yes"!
